DATE:SATURDAY 3RD JUNE, 2017.
TODAY’S READING: ROMANS 12: 1-21
TOPIC: THE REALITIES OF REDEMPTION.
SCRIPTURAL READING :“In whom we have redemption through his
blood, even the forgiveness of sins.” Colossians 1: 14, Ephesians 1: 7.
To know that we’ve been redeemed is
one thing and to walk in the realities of our redemption is quite another. So
many believers verbally proffer their redemption in Christ Jesus by His blood,
but defiant in the practical living of the realities of their redemption in
Christ Jesus. So many confess redemption with their mouth but admit bondage in
the mind.
The apostle Peter in his epistle
makes us know how to live in the realities of our redemption in Christ. He
said: “for as much then as Christ hath
suffered for us in the flesh, aim yourselves likewise with the same mind; for
he that suffered in the flesh hath ceased from sin.” There is a path way to
walk in. for instance, health to full is Christians still stick? This is
because they’ve got to learn to be strong in the Lord and in the word of his
grace, for therein lies eternal life John
5:39. our life depends on knowing God’s opinion for our lives. It is only
by a definite and a calmly realization of the truth as contained in God’s word
shall we live a life that is absolutely fulfilling; otherwise we will be a
contradiction of what Jesus died for. I pray for you, that shall not be your
portion. Every package of redemption shall be revealed in your life.
PRAYER POINT:
My Father, my Father, by your grace,
help me to work in the reality of my redemption in Christ Jesus.
