Your star determines how far you will go in life. Your star reveals your purpose and assignment. Your star opens you up to celebrations and attacks. There are people who from your birth already know that you will bring fame to your family and so they have made you their business.

A story was told of a man sometime ago who was eating at a Maxican fast-food restaurant. As he stood in line for service he noticed in front of him a very poor lady who looked like a street person. He concluded this because she was carrying a grocery bag filled to the top with what looked like all of her possessions in the world.

This world is a battle field, without divine help, you will suffer defeat, humiliation and shame. Without divine help which comes from the LORD ALMIGHTY, people will forget you and men will abandon you. Consider the story of Joseph in Genesis 40:9-14, Joseph expected help from a man but he was forgotten. Why? Because vain is the help of man. Psalm 60:11 says, “Give us help from trouble: for vain is the help of man.”

To compromise is to do something that is against your principles or does not reach standards that you have set. In other words, as a child of God, to compromise means to do something that is against the word of God.

The strenght of the church cannot be tied to many other things that may be running on in your mind. The majoy strenght of the church is unity. When we have the same mind, we may not have the means then, but it will come. When we are one, there is nothing we imagine to do which we cannot achieve in God's master plan.

          God's desire for us is that we be peaceful and makers of peace.In Isaiah Chapter 9, Jesus is referred to as the Prince of peace. John by revelation given to him for the church reveals that as Jesus is,so are we in this worls.Meaning, we are carriers of peace as Jesus is. One who is not at peace cannot be a peacemaker. Our text instruct us to allow God's peace to rule in our hearts. One may ask, but how? It is by keeping our minds stayed on God [Isa 26:3].

    Jesus made a very striking statement that shows us the reason why the enemy could not assail his soul and body. This makes us know what His Master secret was, he never permitted fear, evil speaking, anger and all the like to be found in them.

    God has kept on instructing us all through the scripture to love one another and be kind to each other. As a matter of fact, the whole laws of Moses in the Old Testament was summarized into LOVE. For he that can love has fulfilled the whole laws. Now that we are no longer under the law, but under grace, we are still being compared by God to exihibit the kind of love that was demonstrated towards us by his son Jesus Christ.

    Our redemption has been made sure in Christ Jesus. The word redemption means to be resuced upon payement of a ransom. The ransom that was used to pay for our resuce is the precious blood of Jesus. By that blood we were bought back into the kingdom of God's marvelous grace and love. We were redeemed completely from the hands of the enemy. Meaning, the enemy has got no say over us anymore.

          Yesterday, we established that if God must put an end to the Egyptians against your life and destiny, you must terminate fear. Another thing you must do for the Egyptians in your life to disappear is to STAND STILL. After Moses admonished them not to fear, he told them to STAND STILL.

You cannot carry everything and behaviour in the world into Christianity and expect a glorious impact. Until some good leaves you, the best won't come. You may have prophecy on your head, but if you do not pay the price you can never experience power and fulfillment.

          You need direction to succeed in life. To get to a place you have never been to, you must ask someone for direction. God is the orchestrator of your life’s journey; therefore you must ask him which way to go per time. This you will find easy to do if you can trust him.

          The devil is like a roaring lion; 1Peter 5:8. all the devil is seeking is destinies to destroy. He is a destroyer of good things, he tried to destroy the destiny of Daniel but he failed woefully. Everything he ever sought to use against him turned out for his promotion. The devil turned to destroy Joseph’s dream; again all he tried to use against him landed in the fulfillment of his dreams. What of Moses?

TOPIC: UNFRIENDLY FRIEND

TEXT: Matthew 2:8 (KJV)  "And he sent them to Bethlehem, and said, Go and search diligently for the young child; and when ye have found him, bring me word again, that I may come and worship him also."

Only God can truly see the intent of a man's heart. A lot of people pretend, they say one thing and mean another. They tell you they love you so that they can get close enough to destroy you. Imagine King Herod pretending to be happy about the birth of Jesus Christ. He pretended to be happy with the fulfillment of prophecy of Christ's birth but in his heart, he was actually planning on how to eradicate his existence. He told the men return to him with vital information as to the particular location of his birth and other details that will aid him in accomplishing his mission.

A precious destiny can be birthed to the very hands of its potential enemies. Jesus Christ was born right before His enemies and within the jurisdiction of Herod who was ready to destroy His destiny. The enemies will hijack the destiny of people when they have information. The wise men made the king know about the birth of Jesus. The wise men themselves where star gazers who understood times and seasons.

          One of the reasons why believers fear and give in to circumstance is because they feel they are alone; they lack knowledge of the mighty God in the midst of them. God cannot be compared with whatever challenge or opposition that is confronting you because God is mighty.

          The Lord Jesus did not say, “The truth shall set you free” but “the truth shall make you free”. It is imperative you understand that these two statements are different though they may be synonymously used.

The Lord Jesus has set us free through His death, burial and resurrection. So, this ought to become a vital experience for anyone that receives Christ into his heart. We were delivered from the domain of darkness and translated into the kingdom of God’s dear son (Colossians 1:13). The prison bonds were broken from your life when He set you free so that you can live in that liberty by knowledge (light); that is when the truth makes you free.

Worry does not add anything positive to a man’s destiny, rather it destroys it because it kills one’s ability reason one’s way out of that challenge. And if care is not taken, it leads to other health challenges such as high blood pressure, cardiac arrest etc. There is no mountain that cannot be brought down if only have peace and sought the solution in God.

The greatness of so many has been made a reality by their various enemies that actually intended to silence them forever. Take for instance the case of David and Goliath. Goliath was greatness to David in disguise. The brothers of David saw him as a strong board to success. Another good example is Joseph and his brothers. Joseph climax everything by saying saying that they meant all they did against him for evil, but God turned it all to good. Challenge is what brings about the birthing of promotion; in fact, if there is no challenge, there can't be champion.

Problems naturally gravitates towards their solution, the presence of challenge reveals your God given ability to handle that challenge.

If you can look up strongly believe in God’s restoration, no matter the error, God will rewrite your story again for good. Don’t sit in that ugly situation thinking it is over with you. No! The Bible says, “Shake thyself from the dust, arise and sit down, O Jerusalem: loose thyself from the hands of thy neck, O captive daughter of Zion” Isaiah 52: 2.

Even if you are practically on the floor, you can arise from the dust where you are sitting. Stop bemoaning your situation. Shake off the dust of defeat, arise to the study of the word and pray. Submit all to God in prayer and take your rest (Philippians 4: 6).

So many confess redemption with their mouth but admit bondage in the mind.

When God saved His people Israel from Egypt, He introduced Himself as “The Lord that healeth thee” in Hebrew Jehovah Rophe. The Lord your doctor, the Lord your healer. He is your specialist. God can heal all aspects of our lives as a specialist. So Rophe means in Hebrew word to heal or to repair.
