TOPIC: GOD'S LOVE REVEALED
TEXT: - “Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not.” 1John3:1
Human love is only provoked when love has been Hshown. In other words, a man will only agree to love you when you have shown him love. But this is not so with God Almighty.
He (God) commendeth his love towards us in that while we were yet
sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 6:8. God loved us even
without our love. That is the definition of true love. The
revelation of God's love is what shows the believer how much
he/she is valued by the Father. God's love for you is greater
than your sins against him. This therefore makes it clear that
His love is the subject matter of the day, not your sin. When
you have the love of God in you, sin will cease to be a
big deal. It is the absence of God's love in you that
culminates into the love for the world (1Timothy 2:15). Catch
the revelation of God's love for you and see how great a
person it will make you. David knew God's love for him and he
defeated a beast called Goliath of Gath. The revelation of
God's love for you will empower you conquer every giants that
crosses your path and make detest sin because you have no other
chose but to love Him who loves you unconditionally.
