OFM DAILY DEVOTIONAL GUIDE, APOSTLE (PROF.) JOHNSON SULEMAN MONDAY 22TH JANUARY 2018

TODAY'S READING: MARK 11-13
TOPIC: COMMITMENT
TEXT: Philippians 1:21 "For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain."
Apostle Paul was so committed to Christ to the point that his life counted no more to him. All he wanted to do was to be in the purpose of God either in life or in death. This is a clear case of undaunted commitment.

OFM DAILY DEVOTIONAL GUIDE, DR. MRS LIZZY JOHNSON SULEMAN. SUNDAY 14th JANUARY 2018

TODAY'S READING GENESIS 43-46
TOPIC: HIDE YOUR GODLY CHILD
TEXT: Exodus 2:2 "And the woman conceived, and bare a son: and when she saw him that he was a goodly child, she hid him three months."
Every child of God has a goodly child; God unfolds it to him in phases and manifest it when it is fully mantured. So every goodly child, treasure, dreams, etc has stages or process of growth; from its tender stage where it can be easily aborted to its matured stage when it is surer. Therefore, it is the responsibility of every son and daughter of God to understand the stages of his/her goodly child and secure it. The enemy is out seeking goodly children to abort.

TODAY'S READING: GENESIS. 40-42
TOPIC: THE APOSTOLIC SAINT
TEXT: John 17:18 "As thou hast sent me into the world, even so have I also sent them into the world."

Haven't you wondered how come Jesus didn't show Himself to those who crucified Him after He had resurrected but only to His disciples? After His resurrection, He spent 40 days with His disciples discussing the matter of the kingdom; all these are to ensure the disciples reveal His glory and validate His being alive by their message.

TODAY'S READING GENESIS 30-32
TOPIC: IT WILL COME TO PASS 1
*Text: Habakkuk 2:3* " *For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry*
The vision beloved child of God is for an appointed time. That God showed you His mind to you does not automatically mean it is to happen now. That prophecy given to you does not necessarily mean it is for today.

TODAY'S READING GENESIS 23-26
TOPIC: IT WILL SOON MAKE SENSE

TEXT: Isaiah 55:8 "For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD."
Hear this: "the God was" means He who can go back to your past and fix it. "The God who is" means He who can come to your present state and reinstate your goals and future while the God who is to come means He who will go into your future and finish it before you come in!

OFM DAILY DEVOTIONAL GUIDE, DR. MRS LIZZY JOHNSON SULEMAN. SATURDAY 6th JANUARY 2018

TODAY'S READING GENESIS 16-19
TOPIC: THE POWER OF EXPECTATION
TEXT: Proverbs 23:18 "For surely there is an end; and thine expectation shall not be cut off."
If you are praying and not expecting, you won't get anything. "Only those who come into God's presence with expectation leaves with present".
God has never had issues delivering His promises unto us. One of the secret codes of entering the next level is expectation. Your expectation moves you from where you used to be to where you ought to be.
Expectation is a very strong tool for today's believer. A wise man once said; what you look at the longest becomes the strongest in your life.
