TOPIC: THE POWER OF EXPECTATION
TEXT: Proverbs 23:18 "For surely there is an end; and thine expectation shall not be cut off."
If you are praying and not expecting, you won't get anything. "Only those who come into God's presence with expectation leaves with present".
God has never had issues delivering
His promises unto us. One of the secret codes of entering the next level
is expectation. Your expectation moves you from where you used to be to
where you ought to be.
Expectation is a very strong tool for today's believer. A
wise man once said; what you look at the longest becomes the strongest
in your life. Meaning what you expect, you attract. Expectation is a
belief that something will happen because it is likely. The word
expectation comes from the Latin word 'expectation' meaning 'an
awaiting'. Put your mind to work when you are communicating with your
Father (God) through prayers.
When you tell your earthly Father you need money for your project, school fees etc, what do after asking? You wait expecting him to respond to your request positively. That's what God expects of us, but because of lack of patience, many turn away from God by their hopelessness and lack of expectation. Until you get what you want, don't stop expecting.
