OFM DAILY DEVOTIONAL GUIDE, APOSTLE (PROF.) JOHNSON SULEMAN SATURDAY 13TH JANUARY 2018

TODAY'S READING: GENESIS. 40-42
TOPIC: THE APOSTOLIC SAINT
TEXT: John 17:18 "As thou hast sent me into the world, even so have I also sent them into the world."

Haven't you wondered how come Jesus didn't show Himself to those who crucified Him after He had resurrected but only to His disciples? After His resurrection, He spent 40 days with His disciples discussing the matter of the kingdom; all these are to ensure the disciples reveal His glory and validate His being alive by their message.
In other words, every saint on earth is supposed to be proving His being alive by the kind of life they live. You have been sent to bear the message of His death, burial and resurrection and well His endless reign over the universe. You are His foot soldier, the proof that He is alive, the expression of His p ersonality such that He is not obscured in any form of His glory. You represent His love, peace, care, longsuffering to the world. The Word Apostle means the sent one. You've been sent into the world by Him just like the Father sent Him to continue His work on earth. Heaven depends on you in order to influence this earth and bring it to the obedience of Christ.
You will not fail God and those connected to your destiny.

PRAYER
My Father, my Father, as I pray now, empower me to be Your true representative here on earth...
