TOPIC: WALKING WITH GOD 1
Text:"And Enoch walk with God: and he was not,for God took him. Genesis 5:24
The
word walking simply means moving along a path in systematic manner. Walking with
God certainly implies having a relationship with him. You cannot walk along a
path with someone you have no agreeable relationship with. The journey will
never be successful. Amos 3:3 says “can two walk together expect they be agree?
Enoch could walk with God because he responded to meaning of his name which is
disciplined, yielded and well regulated. It take discipline in faith to walk
with God. Before you can walk with God, you must first believe that he is, and re warder of them that diligently seek him .[Hebrew 11:66] you cannot be far from God and say you are walking with him. you cannot say you are walking with God when
you don’t know his son Jesus.
Jesus is the way, the truth and life no one gets
to God the father except through Him john 14:6.
Faith
in the son of God, in the person of Jesus Christ is an important criteria in
walking with God. Once you receive and believe in the name of Jesus, you have become a son of God[john 1:12].only sons walk and
fellowship with the father, servants and strangers have no right to dine with a
king as a prince would. Having receive Jesus as your Lord, you must maintain
and mature your faith because without faith, you cannot please God.
PRAYER
My
father, as I pray now, I receive uncommon grace to always walk with you.
