TOPIC: KEEPING THE WORD OF GOD
TEXT: ... "For thou hast a little strength, and had kept my word, and has not denied my name." Rev. 3:8b
The word of God is God, John 1:1 knowing God is knowing the word of God. The word of God reveals God to us in different dimension. The word of God help us to live as Christians. The word of God directs, instructs, rebukes and corrects us.
You cannot obey God without knowing what He has said you should do or not do. Psalms 104:15; It is the word of God in you that helps you stay away from sin.
God is interested in you keeping His word. You might not be a preacher, you might not be a fasting machine or a prayer warrior, and you might not be leader or a front liner in your church or department. What God want from you is that you keep His word. God says I Know your boss says you must sleep with him to secure that promotion; I know you under pressure to alter figures or faced with sack if you do not comply, yet you have kept my word. That is what God is interested in.
God is interested in people who will not deny their faith despite the odd against them like Daniel, Shedrach, Meshach, Abedinego, Joseph, Modicai etc
I see you gain total victory as you make up your mind to keep God's word at all times even in face of tribulation
