DATE:WEDNESSDAY: 5TH JULY, 2017.
Today'S Reading: Exo. 1:1-22
TOPIC: REDEMPTION IN HIM
FURTHER READING: 1Peter 4:1
Scripture: " In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins." Colossians 1:14
Our redemption has been made sure in Christ Jesus. The word redemption means to be resuced upon payement of a ransom. The ransom that was used to pay for our resuce is the precious blood of Jesus. By that blood we were bought back into the kingdom of God's marvelous grace and love. We were redeemed completely from the hands of the enemy. Meaning, the enemy has got no say over us anymore.
He has no right to bring accusation against us anymore scripture says in Revelation 12, that the accuser of the brethen has been cast down, also in Ephesians 2:6, it lets us know that God has made us to sit together with Christ in heavenly places where the accuser is no more permitted to ever come to. Let therefore take advantage of the redemption works of Christ and brace our hearts with the truth of His finished works on the cross of Calvary, for by so doing, shall we not render the works of Christ vain and fruitless. We've been made joint heirs with him through His blood. Meaning, we have access to everything that belongs to him. We have access to His faith, love, peace, wisdom, joy, just name it. They all belong to us.
PRAYER POINT:
My father, my father, make me a beneficiary of the redemption package of Christ.
