TODAY’S READING: GAL. 3:1-14
TOPIC: YOU SHALL SEE THEM NO MORE 1
SCRIPTURE: “And Moses said unto the people,
Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD, which he will shew
to you to day: for the Egyptians whom ye have seen to day, ye shall see them
again no more forever.” Exodus 14:13
Yesterday,
we established that if God must put an end to the Egyptians against your life
and destiny, you must terminate fear. Another thing you must do for the
Egyptians in your life to disappear is to STAND STILL. After Moses admonished
them not to fear, he told them to STAND STILL.
To stand is to be in an upright
position, to be on or rise to one’s feet: to make resistance, to remain
unchanged, to endure, to tolerate, to look on without interfering; to be
available for use if required. Now, you understand that to see them no more,
you must resist opposition; you must be bold to face opposition. You must not
allow anything to interfere with your standing.
To be still on the other hand is to
be motionless, calm, silent. Allow God lead and guide you. Make no move without
God, be calm and silent to hear God’s instructions per time. Another meaning of
still; is an apparatus for distilling liquids, especially spirits. The bible
tells us in Ephesians 6:12; for we wrestle not against flesh and blood but
against principalities, against powers, against rulers of darkness of this
world against spiritual wickedness in high places.
This means that we must therefore get
our still which is our apparatus ready. This we see in Ephesians 6:13-18.
PRAYER POINT:
My Father, help me to put on the whole armor of God.
