TOPIC: UNFRIENDLY FRIEND

TEXT: Matthew 2:8 (KJV)  "And he sent them to Bethlehem, and said, Go and search diligently for the young child; and when ye have found him, bring me word again, that I may come and worship him also."

Only God can truly see the intent of a man's heart. A lot of people pretend, they say one thing and mean another. They tell you they love you so that they can get close enough to destroy you. Imagine King Herod pretending to be happy about the birth of Jesus Christ. He pretended to be happy with the fulfillment of prophecy of Christ's birth but in his heart, he was actually planning on how to eradicate his existence. He told the men return to him with vital information as to the particular location of his birth and other details that will aid him in accomplishing his mission.

We need to pray that our helper would not divulge information of their plans to help us to our unfriendly friend. The wise men never knew they were talking to an unfriendly friend of Jesus.
This is why most of our favour and help promised never come through. A wrong person has been informed about that favour. You need to pray for God to reveal your real enemies to you. You might be very surprised when God opens your eyes to see them. They pretend to be happy with and for you but they are your arch enemies. God will expose them for identification.

O God of power, may the information about my rising never get to my enemies in Jesus name...
