DISTINGUISHES.

Scriptural Reading: ‘And the LORD was with Joseph, and he was a prosperous man; and he was in the house of his master the Egyptian. And his master saw that the LORD was with him, and that the LORD made all that he did to prosper in his hand’. Genesis 39:2-3.

            Joseph was not the only servant in the house of Potiphar but he was distinguished from others because God was with him. The presence of God in his life was very visible that the master an Egyptian saw it. The Lord made him a prosperous man, all he did prospered in his hand hence he found grace in the sight of his master.

If there is one thing you should always seek after is divine presence Moses with this understanding demanded. ‘If thy presence go not with me, carry us not up hence’. Exodus 33:15. Never allow anything to take His presence from you. That was why David cried, ‘Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not thy Holy Spirit from me’ Psalm 51:11. His presence is what ensures fullness of joy, confidence, fearlessness, deliverance, provisions, favour, grace and unending necessities for a glorious life. It was the departure of the presence of God in the life of Samson that made him a prey to the enemies. With the presence of God, even when you walk through the valley of the shadow of death, you will fear no evil.

I pray for you, may you never lose His presence.

O God my Maker, as i pray, let your presence be with me all the days of my life.
